Launching a landmark work of art
The ‘Deer Shelter Skyspace’ by James Turrell is the most significant work of art gifted to the nation since Rodin’s ‘The Burghers of Calais’ in 1911.
This important work was celebrated in the prestigious publication we designed for Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Art Fund, which included contributions from Andrew Graham-Dixon, Peter Murray OBE and David Barrie.
The publication is available to purchase from the YSP shop.

The beautiful thing in Yorkshire is the wonderful maritime skies. You realise that England is at sea, and this beautiful cloudscape, the greyness of it, was something spectacular to me, and also the fact that I could finally take this sky and give it the blue which is its due.
