Marketing strategy:
Our marketing strategy turned around the traditions of print promotion with this ground-breaking book ‘The Process of Printing’ which was produced to inspire graphic design practitioners to think differently about creative design and print.
It’s a useful printing and graphic design manual which has been lovingly designed.
Best in Book, Creative Review – The Annual.
Book design:
Showcasing printing techniques using simple graphic shapes as visual examples, the book design demonstrates Team’s lithographic printing and finishing capabilities which include foil blocking, die cutting, spot UV varnishing and metallic printing in an inspiring and engaging format. Reinforcing the unique and distinctive qualities of print as a highly tactile medium of communication, the printing and finishing of this technically challenging piece of print design brings together over 20 special inks, finishes and techniques into a singular unified format.
Design and printing work in perfect harmony, with breathtaking results.
Grafik Magazine
Marketing campaign:
To promote the book, Design Project created an advertising campaign using bold eye-catching graphic shapes which were designed to capitalise on the lithographic printing process – a standard printing method widely used by national trade publications. This creative design and print approach mirrored that used in ‘The Process of Printing’ book – giving the adverts a more colourful and visually arresting impact.
